I dont live in Hawkes Bay any more but I still cross the North Island to get my hair done by him because he is so much more than a hair stylist. He's an artist and architect of hair and can make even the most stubbornly difficult hair submit to his will and make it the hair style you've always dreamed of. Thank you for being so amazing at what you do James! No matter what I ask of you you always exceed my expectations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Ragna to cut my hair for the first time in my life. My hair was pretty long, and the cut I wanted was pretty short. I was very nervous, especially hearing horror stories of other people struggling with finding a good hair stylist after many attempts. But, I was fed up with maintaining my hair and decided to take a leap of faith. I was taken care of by Michaela. She was absolutely lovely! I expressed how nervous and scared I was for my haircut, but she calmed my nerves by reassuring me she would make it worthwhile. She didn't lie! She was very personable and professional. She walked me through her process, and continued to keep me in the loop with what she was doing with my hair and why. I absolutely love my hair cut, and was emotional after seeing the end result because I was so sure I would hate it, but it looked fabulous, and I FELT absolutely fabulous and ready for the new year. I was offered a cup of coffee, which was something I didn't expect from a salon but absolutely LOVED. And, I was sent home with samples! I don't wash my hair with anything else but Head & Shoulders because of how sensitive my scalp is, but the products she gave me smell, feel and work great! I decided that this is my home for all other hair related endeavors. I'm so grateful I got it right on my first try.
