★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rangimarie is a beautiful bush retreat located in a quiet area not too far outside of Pirongia/Otorohanga. Rowena runs an excellent retreat, offering a cozy cabin and a beautiful barn for accommodation. My travel companion and I stayed on 3 separate occasions and enjoyed our time spent with Rowena and her dog Maggie - this was one of the best highlights of our trip to NZ. The property is gorgeous and includes views of glow worms, beautiful native birds, eels that swim through the creek, and more. Rowena works very hard to make this retreat the way it is and it shows!
