★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We turned up a bit before they opened for Mothers Day. While they were still prepping food for the day they threw together a bacon and egg breakfast which was delicious. Coffee was pretty good too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in here on our way to Hamilton for a couple of drinks and some lunch. Was stoked to see gluten free options (I'm coeliac) and even better fried chicken was one of them! Amazing value...got the salt and vinegar fries (not something that would usually appeal) and loved them! Chicken had a nice peppery bite...and the drinks were pretty cheap (especially when you're used to Auckland pub prices!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing massive pub meals, friendly staff. Lovely place with lots of outdoor tables & space. Photos are vegan salad with added chicken, scotch fillet steak with mash & roasted veges, banoffee pie. Recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for lunch with a group, and the food was incredible, not sure why there was no table service as we had to go to the counter to order. The lady at the counter was great as she let us know about the delay in the food, we didn't stay in the rooms but the location was beautiful. An overall enjoyable experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a Sunday lunchtime, the place was packed and there were twenty five of us.We expected to wait for our meals and we did. 90 minutes to wait but luckily we were in no hurry and the beers were good.
The food was excellent, certainly worth the wait. Will happily return.
