Preschool 3–6 years
Preschool is the foundation of a Montessori education. We offer a full programme for children aged three to six years.
Our preschool programme is designed to support your child’s growing curiosity and encourage them to explore and learn with the guidance of qualified Montessori teachers. The preschool learning environment has specially designed Montessori materials to engage your child to make discoveries and develop their concentration, motivation and self-discipline. Your child will learn to cooperate with children of different ages and to respect and celebrate the efforts of others. They will also learn to take care of themselves, others and their environment.
We offer before school care from 8am and after school care until 6 pm to accommodate busy families. We also offer a school holiday programme for our preschoolers which runs in the holidays between terms one and four, but not over the long summer break.
Our preschool classrooms are called Pōhutukawa, Rewarewa, Nīkau and Kōwhai.

This school is AMAZING the staff are all fantastic and I believe it is because of them that I have confident capable and resiliant children who are able to achieve anything they want. Thankyou Wa Ora

It's the fake Gucci handbag of schools. All brand recognition no quality to back it up.
I have extensive experience in Montessori and this place is not doing it at all well. They are also departing from AMI, the Montessori accreditation organisation.
If you look at the good reviews for Wa Ora they were from 4 or so years ago.
Management has changed and not for the best.
They are not doing anything that isn't well catered for by public schools and community kindergarten.
As way of example we had more and better quality learing stories in a month form a good community kindy than we had from Wa Ora in nearly 2 years.
