★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely little restaurant to get fresh and creative fare. We enjoyed the ceviche starter as well as many of the entrees. We ordered and shared between 4 people and I think that is the greatest way to do it! The atmosphere is cozy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was absolutely delicious (salmon ceviche followed by the beef and venison) and we loved the atmosphere and vibe, such a cute place which seemed to just keep going out the back. The staff were all great, they were very busy with the influx of tourists and still provided amazing service. Perfect place to enjoy some local wine after doing the Kepler walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing find for our one night in Te Anau. The food was amazing and very reasonable priced. We had dessert too-couldn't resist! The best lemon parfait I've had. The ambience was very nice and lots of memorabilia to look at. The staff and service were excellent too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food! We sat down terrace for a r dinner with our dogs and it was nice and worm by heater in beginning of April. Foods are absolutely amazing and unique. We highly recommend when you visit Te Anau. We took some pictures however heaters outside are red lol so they got all red pictures lol.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a great food surprise maybe not a surprise with 4 lamb and beef top awards on the wall. Service lovely and fitted us in but id book. Lovely food especially the salad starter and venison. Well worth a visit in Te Anua chwck out photos

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best meal I had by far in Te Anau (though the food at Fiordland lodge was a close second). Casual atmosphere with 5 star dining food and amazing drinks. Great choices for vegetarians and the lamb my guest had was exquisitely cooked

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seriously beautiful restaurant! It has a cute, vintage, comfy style which we loved. All the staff were great! And the food was delicious, - we tried the hare special and yum! The outside seating area is really nice too. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked in without reservation at around 5.30pm on a Sunday and was lucky to snag seats. Owner kindly provided me with a blanket when she saw I was freezing. Thoughtful service makes a world of difference! Everything was delicious, from the bread, to the fish of the day, to the NZ prime beef. It's no wonder they are award winning for so many years! By the time I left at around 6.30pm, restaurant was full and for good reasons! If you are in town, come here for good food. You won't be disappointed.
