It is decorated and styled as a 40s workers cottage with all of the charm and authenticity, with none of the miseries of actually living in such a place! Nods to modernity are discreet and effective, and make staying there a complete joy. The Grandie, me and our dogs have loved every time we've stayed (a number!). Miss it? Why would you? It truly completes the Reefton experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ great place but the pillows are terrible. too soft,no head support and as there were no summer duvets it was sooo hot and difficult to sleep.i moved to a single bed but they were both sagging and uncomfortable,wooden slats under these would solve this.apart from these imp issues the house is exceptionally well appointed and well sighted in a peacefull location..
