★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I commissioned Lia and her team to do an extension at my property, I found Lia and her team to be very helpful, trustworthy and the quality of the work was of a very high standard. The organisation and communication was excellent, overall I'm extremely please with the whole project and the way it turn out. The house now looks very modern and the extension doesn't look like an extension it looks as its part of the house.

I was extremely please with the way Lia and Refresh Renovations carry out the extension at my property, that I had no hesitation in asking Lia and her team to renovate my bathroom. The service from design to the finish bathroom, the approach, attention to detail and professionalism as well as the communication was as good as the first time, the quality of the workmanship was again to a very high standard. Lia's knowledge in the products was a great help in finalizing the look of the bathroom. I’ve recommended Lia and Refresh Renovations to a number of people and won’t hesitate to used them again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lia is amazing. We had some renovation work done to our place 12 months ago. Throughout the process she was incredibly professional, and made sure our needs were met.
During the lockdown recently, we noticed a leak in the ceiling (on a Friday night to make things worse). We emailed Lia, and within an hour we had roofers organised for the next day, and all covered under their warranty. We were incredibly impressed with this, and shows that the ongoing support will be there. It is one thing to have a good experience during the work, but to maintain this level after completion is on another level.
If I could rate Lia and her team higher I would. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

From planning, pricing and delivery of our kitchen renovation the Refresh Renovation Wellington team were really helpful. Communication and project management went hand in hand in providing an experience that didn't leave you wondering what and when things were happening. The trades were one of the tidiest I have worked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having my kitchen renovation undertaken by Refresh was one on the best decisions I have made and I did this against advice to save money and just manage it myself.
What Refresh provided was a professional eye and guidance on what I wanted to achieve and what was required to get there. I had minimised what was involved and their input meant that I was able to manage my expectations to fit the budget I had. The budget was respected and the technology they use helps with no surprises happening and you feeling in control of decisions being made.
From the fantastic Tina in design, Lia with her wise words and support on tiles and the amazing project manager Sashti I cannot fault the service I received. The sequencing of services is not something I could have managed on my own with the current trade shortage and the standard and finish is amazing. The complications around supply issues with covid were well communicated and I had a schedule that was easy to follow and I knew who was coming when, and they did!
When an issue with the light occurred the Sashti drove to my house to look through all the boxes to find the small component that had gone missing. This meant no delay and showed the commitment to getting the work completed on time.
The result has been better than what I imagined and has made me love coming home to my small but now beautiful kitchen. As the process was so easy and the results phenomenal I am thinking the bathroom is next once I save up again. This has changed my view on renovation and how we interact in the space. The lesson learnt was having Refresh saved me money and time in the long run and the end result is perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great experience with Lia and her team at Refresh. We did a major reno and they guided us through every step of the way, including getting through the lock-down challenges. We found they were good to communicate with, responsive, great with updates and follow-up. We faced a few unforeseen problems with the project along the way and they helped us navigate them. One of their contractors didn't do an acceptable job and they made sure the work was remediated. We are very happy with the finished product and if you are looking for a project manager to take the stress out of a renovation we would definitely recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unsuccessful experience. Refresh Renovations presented as chaotic. The tried and true efficient approach to sequencing most building projects was set aside for the motive of giving the impression of progress...and keeping us as "work in progress". The team were often distracted by shiny finishing things - as opposed to the critical practical rebuild tasks on a simple 70sqm house. The team opposed transparency and were unwilling to unpack the quoted $10,000 per square meter price for the works (which didn't include roof, appliances, foundations)...an eye watering 210% of the quantity survey pricing. The team knowingly breached the Heritage New Zealand compliance requirements and left me to resolve (after the many sub-contractors disappeared). Lia's bolshy and over-confident approach is disconnected from the actual skills of this company and nearly rendered our renovation unrecoverable. Refresh Renovation Ltd were very eager to solve their mistakes by issuing expensive contract variations at random. Nice people... but conclusions is that Lia takes on too much work, misrepresents their level of expertise and doesn't use the proprietary Refresh project management software that was a major selling point. Proved easier to manage the project ourselves rather than managing Lia & Co. Happy to discuss.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our unit is small, but the renovation task was huge and involved numerous trades. The final product is a well designed, well insulated comfortable unit with a brand new kitchen and bathroom, relined, rewired, repainted - fully renovated.
Tina’s expertise and flair for design used the very limited space available in clever and creative ways. Dani’s attention to detail, outstanding communication and coordination of numerous trades was truly impressive.
The team adopted a problem solving approach to any obstacles and the work was finished within budget and time frames. Most importantly, everyone was professional, friendly and so easy to deal with.
We would highly recommend them.
