★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a massage done today. Very very disappointed! I was even told that my shoulders will be sore for the next couple of hours and I should drink plenty of water (I already drink 3 litres of water daily and didn't go to have a massage to get instructions). Therapist was friendly but she really needs to practice her massaging skills on her colleagues to get a honest feedback from them directly. Seriously felt like someone was just stroking my neck and head for 25 mins. Won't recommend at all based on today's experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great for a quick stop for a quick massage they do good neck and shoulder for 20 minutes or you can get the full 1 hour treatment they also do cupping acupuncture etc ACC verified as well this is my local quick stop massage shop and I like it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sheela is the best & does lovely massage always but whole experience ruined by that awful woman that stands by the door. She was SO rude to my 86 yr old Mum who uses a walker & this woman shouted at Mum to move move!! I have left message with management with no response to date.... Madam needs to go before she ruins yr business

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having been using Refreshing massage at Birkenhead since it opened. I have been extremely lucky to have had Flora then Sheela as my massage therapists. Recently a new masseuse has been hired there. She plays videos loudly when she is not working and yesterday screamed at Sheela when she was asked to shut the tea room door. This was unacceptable behaviour and I have spoken to the manager and hopefully something will be done about this. Hopefully her removal as this behaviour must be bad for business.
