Staff were really friendly.
Seats and floors cleaned upon entry.
Cinema is was easy to find although access needs to be named clearer.
4 stars just cause it is a bit expensive.
All up I would go again.

β β β β β I've been going to this cinema since I was in school back when they had the old two story cinema. The owners are very nice people and I've had many great movie going experiences at the Regent.
Unfortunately, because I've had a bad reaction to the covid vaccine I'm unable to get a second dose and therefore not allowed to see a movie. As a massive Batman fan it's going to be hard sitting this new one out.

β β β β β Attended the CAB Downton Abbey fundraiser. Delicious Kapiti boysenberry and chocolate icecream was perfect while waiting for the main movie. Comfortable seats, a bit of rumble from the action movie next door but was able to filter that out easily enough.

β β β β β I was home for the weekend and planned a nice movie night out for my family. We reserved seats a few days prior to the film and when we got to the cinema it was packed full of people. After waiting in line for 25 minutes and paying for tickets and food we found out that other people were let into our reserved seats. We got a refund and had to drive 20 minutes back home without watching the film. This was very disappointing.
