★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Court was never a place I wanted to be when it came to family matters. However, Laura Harris was my lawyer and was brilliant. Took the time to explain to me every step of the process, (sometimes having to explain more than once) Emotions can be fraught, (which mine were), however Laura would always explain and re~explain what the process was, and where we were at with it. Gave good advice, (even though some of it was hard to hear) I had already heard good things about another lawyer at the firm and felt I was in good hands.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used Karen Pearce in a Hague case, we found that Karen was hard to deal with, lacked public relation skills, knowledge in this field.
In court she was poorly prepared and couldn't give straight answers the judge required.
We have since employed another lawyer and found a very different level of service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spoke with the receptionist on the phone today. She was unhelpful and not very friendly. I was advised by my lawyer here in Australia to seek advice regarding the submission of an application which I have suitable grounds for. Instead of listening to understand, the receptionist just listened to respond. She questioned my grounds and motives and despite asking her to answer my question a couple of times she did not. - All I needed to know was whether my application would have enforcement if applied for here in Australia and registered there in New Zealand? That was it! - I did not see the need to disclose everything to the receptionist, however I was made to feel my issue meant nothing when in-fact it means everything to me! I have sought help from another firm! - I recommend seeking advice and assistance elsewhere!
