★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Remuera Toastmasters Club is one of the best club in Auckland. The club has members with a wide range of experience from novice first timers to seasoned experts. The environment is also humorous and every members of the club are very kind, welcoming and collaborative. You will not feel like a stranger on your first meeting. I was able to participate in various activities ranging from prepared and impromptu speeches as well as providing feedbacks and evaluations for my fellow club members. All these activities were conducted in a very organized and structured manner. These activities greatly helped me in developing my public speaking, presentation and leadership skills. Prior to joining the club, I cannot even stand in front of an audience & talk, provide effective feedback & evaluations or respond to impromptu speeches. After being part of the club for almost 6 months, now I can confidently stand in front of an audience and deliver or present a speech/talk. I can even provide effective feedback and do things in a timely and organized manner. Also, my ability to respond to impromptu speeches greatly improved and is getting better every meeting. Therefore, without doubt, I will recommend anyone to join the club.
