★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We all loved our stay. Friendly staff. Great rooms, clean and well appointed. Close to everything in the city center. Tram is right out side the door. Restaurants near by are great. But, their own Chef is really good too. We ate there three nights and could not fault our meals. Tours pick you up from the front door. Parking underneath. Or, if you need to park outside in a Wilson's carpark because of height or size. It is only 25.00 a day. We will be back next year. Thank you Rendezvous Hotel Christchurch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Flaws Flaws Flaws. Ordered a Romantic special deal, should have had bottle wine, rose, Box chocolates. Checked in at 7 went to tea to find no package in room on arrival just after 9pm.
Rang reception, closed, rang bar, they said will try todo something, ended up with $10 bottle wine and bit of chocolate cake!! $59 worth, Not.
Lights turned on and off at own pleasure! Spa weak, settings broken! No spare toilet roll, not a pleasure! Loud large bangs all night from above and next door! Pillows way past use by dates, flat as pancakes! Lights in cupboard not working, Fridge that turned on/off every 10 minutes.
List goes on...
We work various hotels/motels and for the price they are charging would advise to seek alternative accommodation

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful hotel back in 2018. I must say that the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful indeed. The room where we stayed had nice views of the mountainside. Within walking distance, there were a number of local attractions to explore. Valley parking available at very reasonable cost. Overall l, it was a very pleasant stay. 5 star for their hospitality!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and spotless clean hotel with a nice view. However, there is no French theme or product or decor at all! The breakfast was average! I ordered avocado toastie once and it tasted odd! They served my Latte in a glass not a proper coffee cup which wasn’t pleasant to me!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel, central location and easy walking distance to attractions, bars and restaurants. Room was very clean with a comfortable bed and bathroom with lovely toiletries. We ate in the hotel restaurant on one evening of our three day stay and the food was excellent. Service was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will be staying again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff, nice room, quiet with a good view. Close to cafes and restaurants with new Regent St across the road. Free parking by the lights and the rental was still there in the morning. Just a short walk to rent a car from Apex. Cathedral square is an easy walk. Would stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A perfect place to stay if you are travelling for business. Comfortable beds, great lighting, plenty of plug outlets, easy valet parking, walking distance to everything you need. Only thing I could fault is that the restaurant isn't open for lunch but there are plenty of other options so that's not even a valid fault. Love the balcony room. Amazing customer service, they really make you feel like you're important.
