★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very unprofessional people behind the counter at night. We were desperate and needed a car rental. The car they gave us had issues from the start. Terrible screech when it started. Again, we were desperate. Then when we had traveled for a day the key fob stopped working. Wouldn’t be a problem if the door unlocked manually. It did not. Then after being saved from a mechanic the transmission died. I had to get out and push the vehicle while my wife steered. They were able to meet us where we were and switch us to a different car which worked well the rest of the time. Every time we had issues we would call the rental agency and they would act like they didn’t know how to do their job or would shout at someone in the background. One time we were passed off to 3 different people within the building and had to explain myself each time. Poor communication skills between them all. Only positive is that this was cheap. I’m not sure if it is common for them to give broken cars to people just to make a quick buck but it definitely put stress on our holiday.

Their rates are fantastic, the late model Toyota Corolla I hired was in immaculate condition and drove faultlessly and the pick up and drop off experiences were both effortless. Not only are these the best prices your probably find in Auckland but the cars were perfect/clean - literally no problems with them what-so-ever. The staff were equally awesome - rung a few times to clarify things and they were also timely and happy to help. Shuttle also runs frequently, so no waiting around. Would definitely recommend to everyone - they have a huge selection of vehicles to choose from also. 10 STARS
