β β β β β I recently asked Resene ColourShop in Nelson to create a new, special, bright mid-blue to be mixed as a high-gloss oil-based paint specifically to match an existing logotype and signage.
I am an advertising Art Director and the Manager, who has an excellent understanding of colour balance, informed me exactly what he he would do to match the difficult blue, how long it would take, and how much it would cost. He even bothered to create a new brand name for this colour, calling it "Earth Gems Blue."
I will most certainly use this Resene's branch in Nelson for future projects.

β β β β β incredibly disappointed at the staff member not offering to swap a $3.50 testpot I had bought by mistake and had not used. Felt like I was accused of being dishonest. It's really not a way to encourage customer loyalty.

My husband asked why and he said that the woman behind the counter politely him that management told him that I had to wear a mask

β β β β β Never buying resene again.purchased paint they recomended for out door tiles. Followed instruciΓ³ns fully. Paint peeled off in huge swathes following rain. After manager inspecting the tiles he admmited it was not fit for the job and gave us a partial refund.
Now we have painted a wall on the sunny side of the house with coolcolour paint reccomended for
all sorts of exterior surfaces. This is Resenes advertising online.

The lterature says it doesn't get as hot as a normal dark colored paint but in actual fact it gets so hot on a hot day you can not put your hand on it for more than a few seconds.
4 months after painting we have bubbles forming and one board has developed cracks.
The manager has just made excuses and tried to blame the underlying paint.
Seems to me that Resene are successful because they spend millΓ³ns on advertising.
Will take This further. Right is might.

β β β β β Good deals instore and expert advice from friendly staff. Huge range and plenty of stock, though do ask to have all your paints mixed up as some sit for awhile and have a lot of build up on the bottom. Free pens and lollipops too ?
