At least we didnt wait to long.
We had to order our item again as still no pool paint in 4 ltr only 10lt
Cant finish the job yet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went into the store with the intention of buying oil based paint for our doors. We were painting every door throughout the house and we also wanted paint for our kitchen cabinet doors. The sales people (two different staff members on two different occasions) convinced us that modern waterbased paint was as good as oil based paint and it was cheaper, easier to use, and obviously didn't smell so bad. We were quite dubious that waterbased paint would work but they assured us that it was suitable for kitchen cabinet doors also. So we bought the waterbased paint. Only 3 months after applying the paint to the house doors - yes, we absolutely applied it correctly - the paint is rubbing off wherever it is touched (such as on the edges of the doors where people grab them to close them as they leave the room). We were lied to!!!! Having spoken to trades people they affirm that oil based paint is the ONLY paint suitable for doors. We will now have to do the entire house again with oil based paint. The cost and time involved is prohibitive. The ONLY good thing that happened is that we didn't paint the kitchen doors.
