★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for sole-diners. Had dinner here by myself in June 21. Fire roaring away and just the right amount of attention from the lovely women wait staff. Food is outstanding and exquisitely presented. Do try the award winning duck breast

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally someone who knows how to cook! The steak was well rested and melted like ice cream in my mouth. The pork belly was soft and tender with just the right amount of crispy crackling. A very rare find to have meat cooked so well in a New Zealand restaurant. A greater selection of drinks would make this the place to die for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family went for a birthday lunch. We ordered the gnocchi, fish tacos and a children's meal. I found the gnocchi fantastic. The tacos were very tasty but slightly wetter than we expected. The restaurant is in a converted church and has great atmosphere as well as a playground outside for the kids. Service was excellent, and we weren't waiting long for our meals. Thanks for the great experience.

A friendly and helpful staff.
Place is kind of in between places, and right opposite a field of cows.
Not sure that it is well known as it was not very busy the night I went there.
