★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local delights of New Zealand. Fish and Chips, with fishes that I've never heard of. Terakihi fish and Red Gurnard. Terakhi fish tastes more like snaper, soft and mild. Red Gurnard meat is more solid and more fishy.
Other than fishes, oyster and Paua (a type of abalone) is also breaded and fried.

I usually purchase grilled schnapper with extra crispy chips. Served on white paper at the table.
The owners prepare some of the choicest fish and chips in the North Shore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Average fish and chips, terrible tartare sause out of a bag for $3 extra , frozen chips, blue cod luckily a frozen fish completely flavorless. Not cutlery provided if you like to eat your fish and chips in the shop . I asked for a piece of lemon and I didn't get any answer.
For $ 33 dollars I would expect a plastic fork and a peace of lemon , perhaps a paper napkin if I consume my meal in the shop.
This place need some love.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stopped here to buy some fish and chips and take them to Victoria mountain to enjoy my food with a view over Auckland skyline. They offer different kinds of fish which was the first time for me to have fish options.the most expensive was the blue cod for 9$ which was the cheapest I have seen in New Zealand so far. I took my blue cod, chips, tartar and aioli sauce to go and boy what a meal and what a sunset I had.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Fish Wraps are great nice seafood sauce fresh lettuce finely sliced onions crumbed fish. Unfortunately the snapper were small & not the best. Chips were average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here with my partner and we bought $20 worth, we had a scoop of chips, tomato sauce and two fish.
We were disappointed to find that our Fish was rubbery, bland and dry, the batter itself was slimy and would just fall apart from picking it up, the chips were average.
overall an underwhelming first experience and we would not come here again.
