★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst company to deal with. Purchased a lounge suite from them, the next morning they contacted me via email saying they sold it to someone else. Explanation was they were a cash buyer I was not and they also purchased two other chairs. It had not even been 24 hours before they decided to sell to this client. I even offered to pay a deposit, but they said they did not accept credit cards over the phone. I would have to bank transfer only. What in this day and age. and you've been in business for over 68 years!! Get with the modern age!
We had an agreement and they broken it without my consent. And what really frustrates me is they never offered another suit or alternative option at all, not even a phone call from the owner to apologise.
Totally rude and disrespectful organisation. Never ever had anything like this done to me before. Be aware do not trust this company!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We attended our first ever virtual service yesterday and I was pretty apprehensive to how it would be sitting at home watching our friends grieve without us there to support them. It was strange to start off with and horrendously sad watching from afar when all we wanted to do was support our friends by being there with them, but the technology that Eagars have is amazing, and all the small things they added to the service for the family were thoughtful, compassionate and helped us all feel like were were there. It didn't take long for the feeling of just watching the service to go and the feeling of being there to take over. All in all, Eagars went out of their way for the family and for us, the friends who could not be there to help honor one incredible woman. Thank you so very much

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When we first moved to New Plymouth I was looking for a furniture store that had a wide selection of home furnishings so I did not have to go to multiple shops. We needed everything from tiles for our bathroom to mattresses and mirrors for the girls room. I was not disappointed when I entered their showroom. Super friendly & professional and with a huge selection of items for every room in the house. And they were the only shop that offered free set up and delivery. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Nice airy shop with furniture displayed in themed groups. The shop smelled nice of new furniture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had new Vinyl laid in kitchen, dining room, bathroom toilet and laundry. It was prepared one day lifting the old vinyl. The next day the new vinyl was laid. All the doors were rehung. They took the old vinyl away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked into the store. Only 2 x sales people working that completely ignored me. One was sitting down looking at his cell phone. Waited 5 minutes before walking out the store.
Worst customer service. Taking my business elsewhere.
