It is cleaned almost everyday and the property is well-maintained. The rooms are spacious and receive a lot of natural light and fresh air.
The management is very responsive and pro-active.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is just the right accommodation to stay at as a student, I have stayed all over Auckland and this is a gem! A very quiet and peaceful place, just the right environment for a student. Great people, lovely staff, and always spotless.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a student I think that Rocklands is great place to stay, as it is a very convenient area to live. Rocklands is a very quiet place so you get a lot of privacy and you don't get disturbed with noise. I think it is a good place to stay if you want a time for yourself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lived here for the last 4 years as a postgrad student. Room is spacious, well furnished, and gets a lot of natural sunlight. Very conducive to do my work. There is a gym on premises which I used almost everyday . Common areas are regularly maintained and cleaned. The staff working there are very friendly as well.
Overall, I had a great time here. It's perfect if you need a fully furnished room, not far from campus and Newmarket/ Mt Eden village.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would gladly give it a zero star. Felt unsafe living here, even with my partner. Bathrooms were disgusting, people were gross, the wifi was terrible, and the facilities were not up to the standard they should be. Extremely disappointing experience, especially if you want to come home to somewhere safe after a long day. Please reconsider if you're planning to stay here; I wish I did.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Living in Rocklands for almost four years as an international student who is far away from my home country, this place is just like my home in NZ. All staffs here are very nice and kind. The accommodation is very comfortable and clean. The vegetable garden is very lovely. All facilities are maintained well and cleaned daily during weekdays for our use. Love this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think Rocklands is a very nice place to live in. I have been here for almost two years and I believe there are a few advantages compared with other accommodations.
1. It is reasonably priced, considering its good location. All other expenses (Internet, electricity, heating) are including.
2. It is very convenient for students who studying at university of Auckland (Epsom campus). It is only a few minutes walk.
3. The management is good. They clean the common area everyday and it is nice to maintain such a neat place for us.
4. There is spacious kitchen and you can enjoy your cooking here.
5. Good access to bus stop nearby.
6. More importantly, you have freedom here to focus on your work and study, and you don't need to deal with some mean landlord.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my sister as international students away from felt this place as our NZ home.. best place to stay and make you comfy, staff are very welcoming and friendly and Mr. Jim the care taker is always there if you need anything after the office hours... Shahana and Moira are very friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff makes sure that the utilities are always clean..
Totally it's a NZ home..
