Lahi is a great front desk & sales person and she deserves a lot of compliments especially when she goes out of her way to help every single client in the shop aswell as the hairdressers in the salon. She's helped my mother & I create a great hair routine & I'm absolutely in love! I am glad she is a part of this lovely team!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Admittedly I was 15 minutes late, but I'd called ahead to say I was running late. They said it should be fine. When I got there no one was around. The receptionist came out and said they wouldn't be able to see me. My haircut takes 15 minutes max and they could have done it. Got a sense they couldn't be bothered. Hair dresser was nowhere to be seen. Went down to Just Cuts who were fantastic and sure enough my haircut was done in 15.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was very disappointed with my hair, a technician did my foils, took her a long time, yes i guess she was learning and the Senior was just not interested, it cost me $175 and i didnt get what i asked for, i wanted dark and blonde foils, cant even see the dark ones. I have been to Rodney Wayne before and was very happy, but not this time, no customer service whatsoever

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi! I had hair styling appointment for my graduation ceremony 4 May at 11.00. When I book it, they promised that I’ll get my previous hairdresser. But when I came they gave me an assistant, who burnt my hairs – and my previous hairdresser was busy at the next chair. I got terrible curls and looked like a lamb instead of glam. They promised me that curls will be prettier after few hours, but it’s not. Moreover I tried to restore my damaged hairs already a month and a half with Davines products, and it’s not working. I paid 40$ for the hairstyle which is worse that home made, plus got the burnt hairs. Tatiana

After mediocre service from 2 Wellington salons, I swore I would never go to another hairstylist and I would make peace with box hair dye and taking lessons from youtube videos for future attempts.
I was eventually convinced to give Rodney Wayne Queensgate a go. I am so glad I did.
My first appointment on Dec 2021 was with the lovely Jennifer who gave me the haircut I really wanted and needed. Such a lovely friendly manner and I got so many compliments about the haircut she gave me. .
Today I was looked after by Talisha (amazing senior hair stylist) who's technical skills, extensive knowledge and genuinely friendly approach made me feel so welcome and at ease. She was assisted by Sharna who was so attentive and extremely supportive with her colleagues around her.
Great team environment! Love your work!

He listens to you and knows his stuff enough to know what will look good and what won't. I really trust his opinion every time I've been to him. I highly recommend going to this branch as the staff are very helpful and lovely

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have 3B dense curly hair, so its always a struggle getting it straightened the appropriate way for specific occasions. Fina was just simply amazing. She used heat protectant, was a great conversationalist, and took good care of my hair. Went from 3B curly to super straight hair for days on end! Extremely happy with the service!
