β β β β β Me and my extended family from China were holidaying together and enjoying the Chapel. My 5 year old nephew, who doesn't understand English was playing on the empty bowling greens when some elderly Caucasian folk came barking like a mad dog telling him to get off the lawn all so politely. He even made the cut throat gesture after bellowing "Don't you understand English!!!!!". I find some people just unbelievable with their sense of sanity. I understood you perfectly and if you came any closer I would have give you a good WooooWaaaa like the great late Bruce Lee. It's idiots like you who ruin things for other people. I know some White people think they own everything but ya don't, it belongs to the Maori people and AWA.

β β β β β While on a touring holiday to New Zealand myself and my partner Barry France we came across this bowling club. Speaking to the gang maintaining the green found out that they were having a practice session in the afternoon. Returning in the afternoon to find a wonderful club with a friendly atmosphere. After signing in as visitors had a lovely hour chatting to the club members. Invited to have a few ends very enjoyable but different as I crown green bowl in England. Later I think the chairman was giving instruction. Bowling is a wonderful social environment I would advise all Rotaruaians to give it a try. I would certainly join this happy club problem to far from England. Having seen all the usual that New Zealand has to offer the memory of the afternoon is top of the list. Only disappointment never took photo of the afternoon gang. Sylvia and Barry.
