★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family recently stayed here and we seriously can’t recommend it enough! Close to Taupo city but further enough into the country for it to be still and quiet. The house is cosy with everything you need + more including bread, eggs and milk. Beautiful outlook from all angles and the sunrises are dreamy! All of the animals are fantastic, plenty of food for the kids to feed them. Samantha really goes above and beyond. A fantastic stay all round, can’t wait to come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding place for a getaway. Well equipped and comfortable. ..including a log burner with dry firewood supplied.
The views are brilliant and the pet farm animals are adorable. Sam is a fantastic host and her hubby Darren is a real kiwi farmer type bloke ( rare these days).
Only a few minutes drive into Taupo I would thoroughly recommend this holiday cottage to all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the day we contacted Samantha untill the day we left.Samantha always made sure she got back to us quick. Really nice to deal with.
Beautiful little cottage.1 room but i believe you can fit 10 people in there. My Wife and I plus our 4 kids fit in room easily and comfortably. Is really private.Has all you need in house.Outside is just amazing.Loved waking up to the farm view and the mountains and animals just on the other side of the fence.Kids loved it and loved feeding animals. Wifi in and out as expected on farm but a positive as it got us and kids off the gadgets and enjoy us time together. Only 10mins away from Taupo town centre and Huka falls.
Will return one day and will recommend to friends and family.
Thank Taupo Farm Lodge for making our stay comfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review has been long overdue. We had a lovely stay in the Taupo farm lodge during our NZ trip in 2019. Taupo is a beautiful town, the lodge a short drive from the town - convenient to pick up any groceries etc, and our friendly hosts made our stay wonderful and comfortable. We loved the breakfast provided and the bread Samantha baked for us, and the kids absolutely loved petting the animals. Our son talked about the Alpacas for months after. The day we were about to checkout, we had to make an unexpected visit to the medical center which took longer than expected, and Samantha very graciously extended an offer to stay another night for free, which we didn't take up due to our schedule, but that was awfully nice of her. She told us a lot about the local history and Taupo, and we had a nice time biking around Lake Taupo and seeing other sites. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the Taupo area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an absolutely positive experience when we stayed at the Taupo Farm Lodge. Samantha is an incredible host and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. Waking up to a view of the surrounding mountains is unforgettable. The farm animals are friendly and an absolute bonus. The drive into town is so short and very scenic. All in all, it was an awesome holiday and we highly recommend this lovely cottage set in the midst of rolling hills and has a peaceful calm. God bless you and your family Samantha.
