β β β β β Be prepared that the house you rent will be in an average condition, but after you leave they will demand it to be ideal, otherwise you'll be fined from the bond. If you can - try to avoid this company and rent something else.
UPD: an update to comment on their response:
1. When we arrived we also found dirty cups and plates and cleaned them (we did not consider this as a problem)
2. We have found no dishwashing liquid in the kitchen downstairs
3. Downstairs it was smelling like a small animal died (presumably it was a mouse in a mouse trap)
4. There was barely any dishwashing in the kitchen upstairs
5. We found a whole carrot under the sofa when we vacuumed it
6. The fireplace was full of ashes
7. So obvious urine spots in the bathroom upstairs so that we had to clean it, otherwise it looked disgusting to use it
8. "Our office had been in contact with emails back and forth to ask what had happened." --- They did not respond on the email with the problems I enumerated above.
9. "as it was not left tidy as per terms and conditions" --- this is simply not true
10. "it took our crew 3 hours to clean the chalet" --- this is sounds like another joke. After I found a carrot (lol) under the sofa, dirty bathroom and fireplace. The house after us was left tidier than it was, our mistake was not to report about everything we discovered.
11. "We do understand mistakes happen, hence the minimal charge" --- mistakes happen, but blood stains on duvet? Given we did have our own sheets and other bedroom stuff - it's what I simply don't believe. It must have been a lot of blood to soak through to reach duvet. People don't bleed randomly.
12. "with its central gas heating" --- it looks like a heat transfer, not gas heating though. The difference between those is significant.
It is indeed a nice property, but as soon as you enter - photo and video every problem you find and report to them about a tiny little problem.
We would stay there for skiing next year if we were allowed (I wonder if we will :-D), but once again - REPORT everything and check every inch of space otherwise you would be blamed in making mess.

β β β β β JB7 - Really high standard of accommodation - very good value for money. such nice people to deal with. The accommodation was clean, tidy and way better than we expected. loads of space, fully equipped and the super clean spa was such an added bonus! We will be back!
