About Rubber Monkey
After four years as a Video Production and Rentals company, we here at Rubber Monkey had grown tired of the constant struggle to source equipment at reasonable prices. We knew the NZ film industry was at a disadvantage so in 2010 we decided to take this issue into our own hands.
As a local New Zealand store we wanted to provide great customer service, with fast delivery nationwide, whilst still offering competitive pricing that stacks up against the global market. We built up Rubber Monkey by making sure we had top products, top staff, and top relationships with our customers.

When there was a hold up, due to a shipper's error, the staff at Rubber Monkey contacted the shipper to assist in resolving the delayed delivery. Their follow up was excellent. Delivered item was exactly as described. Could not be happier with the product, price or service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been using Rubber Monkey to supply a lot of film gear over the years and I must say how the service has slipped to what we find now is virtually unusable. Recently we called up to order a product. Spoke with a chap who seemed to understand what we were wanting. I asked about payment terms and he said they would supply a invoice for payment but this wouldn't hold up the sending of the product, as we needed it asap. So 3 days later with no product arriving I call up Rubber Monkey who tell me they are waiting on payment to then send the goods. Not what we had agreed on but we quickly make payment. We then said we need this on a overnight as this has delayed us, which they responded with 'yes it will be a overnight service'. The next day we get tracking details sent to us which tells us it is in fact sent on a 5 day NZ Post service. We cancelled the order that day and purchased it locally at the same price. Really not good enough, and it's going to be hard to go back and order again in the future.

My last order was an SD card, it comes with 2 loli which was odd but I wont complaint hahahaha. I like how they provide something I need which other stores dont offer in nz too!
