β β β β β For New Zealand PB Tech is probably the best tech/micro store there is. They are well presentable, have great customer service and provide the best quality tech. The staff have great recommendations and can answer simply any questions you might have. They have phones, laptops, desktops, pc parts, headphones, mice, etc.
They also have a handy website we're you can online order, I ordered a pc which arrived overnight.
Overall PB Tech is probably the best decision as a go-to place for tech.

β β β β β I Bought Asus TUF F15, the salesperson was very helpful in making my choice. Then I started with installing all my applications and updates of the Laptop. The laptop would randomly shut down, doesn't boot, then it would turn on. Had blue screen - ran into problem error. Since I work full time I only used my laptop during my weekend. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong, even when plugged in this was the case.
When I went to raise my concern with PB Tech, their after sales team lacks any knowledge of consumer rights. They straight away said we can't give any refund even though the goods were faulty. They argued with me for talking about the right also they were really unpleasant to deal with. I don't know if this is the attitude they have towards customer having issues with the product.
I am from a computer background, I do know when a hardware is faulty, they still charged me restocking fee, when the product was faulty, they will resell it anyway but still paid me around 50$ less. The whole experience was disappointed and I just lost money.
I would like to discuss this concern with any senior person from PB Tech. I felt they are not adhering with the Consumer Guarantees Act.
Also nobody answers the calls, it's very poorly managed.

Had to wait forever to buy a single air duster.
Would have been faster to go out to the nearest atm, take out cash, come back, walk out with the air duster and leave 20 bucks on the table...
Tried on the weekend but there is an insane line and customer limit like we're still in the middle of a lockdown or something.

β β β β β Carried out an online purchase, delivery date was in two weeks time. No information about the stockβs availability. Paid all via credit card.. waited until the goods arrived for 3weeks. Only told them itβll take another 2weeks to get in the country and still not sure. Quiet unfair if you donβt know about and get fully paid. When I asked for refund said yes but no reference. Made so many calls to get hold on but no answerβ¦wasting more and more time and money for their mistakes..still no refund gone thru after 6days gone. Not trustworthy people.

β β β β β Fantastic online experience, purchased a pc from them more than a year ago. arrived within a week (during covid) to this day have had 0 issues and have continued to upgrade the pc from these guys as they always seem to have the best prices and best shipping costs. My fav shop for all things tech
