I can honestly say at this store that I had the best customer service experience.
After a rough day, my partner and I stumbled up Fort street and found ourselves at Sals, and needless to say im glad we did!
We were greeted almost instantly with a big smile, the guy serving us (Zane) was so polite and friendly! He was attentive and presented himself so professionally, of course we werent suprised when complementing him on his accuracy and overall kind nature that he told us he was the store manager! I knew instantly after this experience that I needed to get his name and sing his praises online.
He even told us about their 3 knots for $5 after I joked to my partner that a single one of their delicious knots was never enough.
I personally want to thank you Zane (If you see this) we greatly enjoyed our night and you definitely made the both of us feel significantly acknowledged not only as customers but now loyal regulars. I cannot recommend this place enough!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sal’s Pizzas are excellent, they are tasty and good value. The staff are very accommodating and the food comes quickly. The Resturant can become rather busy, though there is a relatively high table turnover. One pizza is just about right for two people to share and the garlic knots are also a nice extra. Well worth checking out for a whole pizza or a slice. Good value, good food. Great little pizza joint. We had a slice of pepperoni and pepperoni wheels. The slice was good but the wheel was delicious! Definitely get it. We're visiting from the states and we're looking for a little slice of home. The staff was very friendly as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a New Yorker, it’s great to see the New York pizza tradition executed well in other countries. A great New York pizza place outside the states is hard to come by, and a lot of places try and fail. This is one of the best pizza places I’ve been to in the Southern Hemisphere. There’s nothing better than this in Australia or anywhere else on the North Island. The pizza is well-executed, the dough is great, not overlooked at all like some New York imitators. The cheese is a great color after it’s cooked, and the sauce was good as well. One of the few places where you can buy pizza by the slice (and it’s good!). The place is a bit small but the staff is friendly and there’s an unquestionable New York pizza vibe to the place. They have red pepper flakes and Parmesan on the table. The playlist over the intercom was very enjoyable as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my place for pizza in Auckland. The garlic knuckles are really tasty. The hot wings are yummy and the really hot ones have some heat. The sauces are nice too. The pizza is fantastic. Full of flavour especially the meatball and the pizzas are large. There is plenty of options including vegetarian options. Staff are always nice too and you can pay by card including Amex.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Haven't had sals in a while so I forgot how good it taste!! Came in here last night pretty quite with no line at all. Staff was so nice and friendly, and place was well kept. Only had 3-4 booths to sit on. Pizza was as good as always (pepperoni and buffalo chicken). Will definitely come back again :)
