Wonderful spot for a play on the rocks by the river. Great for a swim in the summer.

So beautiful 100% recommend. Quite cold but worth it. Safe river for all and make sure to check out the waterfall (You can also go behind the waterfall). Super fun if your in the area definitely go.

Really neat I wish I had time to go for a swim here but it was very pretty and worth the quick detour before our stay in Havelock. My mum has mobility issues and she did manage to get there with some help from me and a walking stick.

This place was breathtaking ? beautiful waterfall that you can walk behind and up on with a beautiful pool below that you can swim in. This pool runs into the main river which is spectacular. Wish I had taken more photos but if your in the Tasman area this is a must see!

Wonderful place to visit, lovely large rocks leading down the river with the beautiful Salisbury falls. Would say it would be best after a bit of rain. A must see if in the area.

Fantastic beautiful place to visit, go through the paddock over two turnstiles and carefully walk down to the junction of two rivers with a beautiful waterfall cascading over solid rocks. There are some amazing huge rocks with lots of medium to smaller rocks and stones, with a great variation of colours and textures, some quite beautiful. There is a lot of water especially in the larger river coming together where you can both walk, stand and go into but be very aware of the strong currents, especially when in flood, this is a great place to visit for the spectacular views. Go and stand on the bridge and admire the views in both directions and see the formidable rocks plus take a go look to the river height indicators, when in a big flood the main river can rise over 8 to 10 meters and would be a huge dangerous torrent, amazing power.
