β β β β β Salt air is a well run operation. Exactly what you want to see and feel when your flying. Our flight felt so safe, smooth and the commentary and attention to getting the best views was awesome. The bay of island is a true treasure.

β β β β β Must do while in Paihia. I grew up in the BOIβs as a child, having seen places I visited from air view was a unique and unforgettable experience. We did the plane trip up to Cape Reinga. The pictures speak for themselves. Well worth the money spent.
Daniel was an awesome local pilot, so lots of local knowledge. Thanks for the amazing day out.
Only flaw, which is more of a recommendation to travellers is to pack something to eat. Itβs a bit of a long day and youβll find there arenβt any stops where you can make purchases for food. Tea, coffee and a light refreshment is offered but we were travelling with two small children and the fruit we brought with us wasnβt enough. Also if you get motion sickness take something before the trip.

β β β β β Woohoo still buzzing hours later. Done the trip by catamaran the day before to the hole in the rock. But landing on it plus 45 min flight was next level. Well worth the buzz.

β β β β β we did the 20min scenic flight on possibly the best day ever! water was as clear as the sky's were. the pilot was very informative and told us all about the many islands. i would 100% recommend to save up that extra $$ to be able to land on the hole in the rock! well worth the views

β β β β β Highly recommend a flight with Salt Air, Michelle made it easy to book a custom trip which we had to plan around cancer treatments and flew to see our family bach. Even though the weather could have been better the pilot showed us some of the best parts of the Far North, we'll never forget it. Thanks so much!
