Fantastic customer service. Their shoes are expensive but they will last for years if you take care of them.

This is a fabulous shoe store. The shoes aren't cheap but the styles are beautiful and everything I have bought from this shop I have had extremely good wear out of. I always get great service and because they have multiple stores, they will happily get your size from another store for you.

Been loyal customer to Scarpa, purchasing several pairs each season, and recently I bought two pairs of shoes on sale and unfortunately one of them did not match and I asked to exchange for another pair within 14 days, and Scarpa refused to do it. Did not ask for a refund just an exchange for another pair and they said "no"! On another occasion the sandals I wanted to buy were sold out, however I was told that they were expecting delivery and I asked to call me when stock arrive and they agreed to do so. Did not receive any calls, came to the shop and found out that the stock arrived and my size was sold out again. That clearly shows how they treat their customers. Response: Hi Pip, There were flat sandals - Avril Gau. Just shared the true experience I had, why is that nasty. In regards messaging direct, I came to the shop "direct", asking for exchange a pair of shoes and disappointing response I got from the staff - "it does not matter how much you buy in our store, we don't exchange sale items!" Very disappointing, because most of the stores do.

I’m frustrated! I have bought shoes from Scarpa a few times over the years, and consider myself loyal to them as they’ve always been my first go-to when needing a new pair of shoes or boots. I don’t live in Auckland, however one day we were up and I went into the New Market store the youngish shop assistant literally ignored me, I felt so unwelcome and couldn’t wait to get out of there. So I ordered a $700 pair online, then was wanting to order another pair also and so asked online chat if they run large and what calf measurements were (estimate would have been fine just wanted to know if they were better for larger legs). Person replies a few hours later saying in briefest response, β€œdepends on size, order away and return if they’re not right”. I didn’t want to spend $25 returning boots all because she was too lazy to try and help. I also didn’t want to have to try and get them in return post within 48 hours of receiving if they weren’t right, as our rural postie often signs for things a day or two before we get deliveries. Their returns timeframes are very tight. So anyway, I’m not buying from Scarpa again, I’m giving all my business to Head over Heels from now on. Pip has been nice to deal with in the past but unfortunately these other shop assistants are driving customers like myself away. Two stars for Pip and I like the boots I got.
