I always loved your Petone store, and now I can afford to spoil the wonderful ladies in my life from here in Melbourne. Your flowers are truly magic. Thank you scent for making all of those birthdays beautiful and special. Especially today for my Great Aunt who turned 80. Sending my appreciation ???

Scent is extremely overpriced for what they give you.
Other florists in Te Aro give you more volume for the same money (and good quality), have friendlier staff and are less likely to rush your order.
Though it's not a unique experience, my most recent order did not include what I asked for (which I had detailed), and the staff weren't very friendly especially after I had asked them to fix it upon pickup.
Even after that, my partner and I were astonished at how little I got for my money compared to other florists.
This was a $50 'just because' gesture but I wouldn't expect it to only fit in a small jam jar once I took away the copious amounts of paper.
I have no problem spending more money on flowers, and typically do, but I'd expect to feel like I get my moneys worth each time.
Even on my large orders, I am always still surprised at the small volume.
I'll be using one of the other florists from now on, even if it's slightly further away.
