★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took a brand new pair of shoes in to be sold on my behalf. They did not sell within the time frame given so I collected them. I was appalled to see they had been worn, with 2 scratches and slightly soiled soles. The customer service was not very friendly either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a very unpleasant experience at this shop. It started with what could have been a mistake but possibly a dishonest attempt to upsell. A colourful top caught my eye and as I took it off the rack the lady at the counter told me it was silk and from a local designer. I took it to try on and discovered it was actually from Asos and made of polyester. I was surprised it was marked at $125 and googled the shirt on asos, finding it for $70 brand new.
Next, I found a patterned dress that looked expensive and was priced at $130. I took it in to try on but before I could even get undressed , I noticed there were actually several large tears in the fabric around the midsection. It was a fine mesh fabric with embroidery so likely very difficult to repair. I came out after being inside for 30 seconds, and showed this to the lady at the counter who then made a very vocal attempt to blame and shame me for the rips in front of other customers. She said it must have happened when I tried to squeeze into something too small.
Overall, very unpleasant shopping experience. I recommend going across the street instead but if you do go, there are some nice looking things but be wary of the prices, damage, and the rude clerk.

The pricing is great, with many unique pieces, which may, or may not now adorn my wardrobe ? Always a warm welcome, a giggle, and honest advice! A real Iconic Wellington shop.
