β β β β β How lucky were we to come across this amazing place.
The hosts Penny and Andrew went out of there way to make our stay feel very special. They welcomed us with open arms into there home and treated us Iike family.
Andrew cooked us the most delicious breakfast each morning and Penny gave us a guided tour of her stunning landscaped garden she so lovingly tends to.
Our bedroom was lovely and spacious. It had everything there to make it very comfortable including a great bed and pillows and was super clean.
Our stay at Shurinji was so relaxing, with stunning views from our bedroom window and a lovely spa to unwind in at night.
Our dog had a wonderful time as well.
Thanks again Penny and Andrew for the great company you were for us and the wonderful couple of days we spent with you both. We definitely will be back to see the many roses out in bloom.

β β β β β My daughter stayed at Shurinji B &B in June , and the wonderful hosts Andrew and Penny went above and beyond all expectations. They looked after her and spoilt her so much as she was travelling on her own .Thankyou so much and we look forward to visiting with you when we are next in NZ ..

β β β β β Excellent food and friendly, welcoming hosts. Spacious, comfortable room, excellent shower, etc. Kombucha at breakfast was a plus. An interesting garden with a dovecote housing white doves.

β β β β β Andrew and Penny were absolute top-shelf hosts. The place was amazing with beautiful landscaped gardens with animals, as well as a fantastic spa pool. Absolute value for money..including a breakfast to order as desired. A must stay.

β β β β β My partner took me here for my birthday as a surprise. Hosts Andrew and Penny went well beyond any expectations. Andrews culinary skills was amazing, the gardens presented with a guided walk by Penny are exceptional. The bird life and cats and dogs was just wonderful. Such a wonderful stay would definatley stay again to enjoy gardens and Andrew and Penny's company, would definatley recommend staying here

The atmosphere and lodgings were excellent Andrew did a superb cooked and continental breakfast, second to none! The spa was also a beautiful way to unwind Overall the best choice for accommodation in Wanganui Thanks again Chris. Negative: That I only had one night.

β β β β β Positive: Breakfast was topnotch. Andrew very thoughtfully asked what we specifically like to eat for the next day. I must say the breakfast was superb and made me win my sports competition. Garden is stunning. A lot of roses, native plants, ducks, doves, pukekos, chicken etc. It is like paradise! Best of all, we felt most welcome. Both hosts (and stunning rescue doggos) are wonderful and made sure we had a great time. The lovely spa was a bonus! Can't wait to come back and show my friends and family.. Negative: I didn't like that I had to leave the place!.

β β β β β Stunning garden and couldn't ask for more wonderful hosts! We felt so relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay - really didn't want to go home and can't wait to come again.
Our room was beautiful and comfortable, the spa was really relaxing (beautiful clear night to star gaze from the spa) and lovely food -especially the home brewed kombucha.
Best B and B experience ever
