You need to pay a fee. Not expensive.
Hot shower, electricity, cooking facilities, trees and a lake.

β β β β β The park has 9km of trail in two separate areas joined by a short section (300m) of road.Β The access turnoff is signposted on State Highway 3, 3km south of the Whanganui River motorway bridge, onto Kaitoke Rd.Β It is another 3km to Lake Wiritoa Reserve carpark.Β There are toilets and a swimming area.

β β β β β Great fun for water activities. We took a boat, biscuit and water ski for all day fun. There's a BBQ which requires firewood that you can gather from around the trees or bring your own

Single track, undulating no real climbs or descents. Tracks are rated easy or intermediate, but they are all easy enough to do even for beginners on hardtails
