Have your legal documents signed off by the Justice of the Peace here in Silverdale Mall.
The Justice of the Peace will be situated in the seating area by the cafes and lifts. Their hours are:
Monday to Saturday – 10.00am to 12.00pm
And Thursday afternoon – 4.00pm to 6.00pm
There will be no Justice of the Peace service on public holidays.
This is a community service where the Justices of the Peace freely volunteer their time. Please support them.
Services available are:
- Handling certification of copies
- Anti-money laundering certification
- Electronic certification
- Statutory declarations
- Affidavits
- Witnessing of signatures
Before you see the Justice of the Peace at their desk, please:
- Wear a mask
- Provide your own pen
- Have your (unsigned) documents ready
We have disposable masks and a supply of pens available should you not have your own
If you are not able to meet these requirements the JP will provide you with information about how you can be assisted using on-line or letterbox drop services.
These procedures align with NZ Government advice and Ministry of Health mandated procedures under the Covid Protection Framework, as well as AJPA policy. They are in place to ensure your safety and that of our volunteer Justices.

โ โ โ โ โ Tried to buy some glasses in Stevens, only to be told I had to buy two boxes or no discount! Farmers had a very poor expensive selection on sale. The place was deserted, I wonder why! Won't rush back

โ โ โ โ โ Clean, well appointed with Trace/Scanning codes and sanitizer everywhere.
I must say a special thank you to the gorgeous women who was cleaning the bathrooms on the day I visited. (I believe she was a supervisor covering a colleagues shift). I am currently physically ill and she was extremely accommodating in helping me use the disabled bathroom.
She was so kind and caring and I hope she is able to see this. Thank you so much ??
