★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been going to Sims since they were recommended to us about 12 years ago. In that time we have been hugely impressed by their capabilities, integrity and helpful approach. We have had some curly issues and they have sorted all of them from veteran cars through to the latest technology. They are friendly and supportive and we feel confident that they know what they are doing and they do it well. I would recommend them to anybody who wants excellent vehicle service carried out by skilled competent people who are friendly and helpful. Go and see Vivienne and the team and find out for yourself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a unique situation in that our car broke down in Dunedin whilst being borrowed by our German friends. We live near Christchurch. Sims Brothers agreed to look at the car and found it needed a new head gasket. The communication was brilliant, the mechanic spoke with my husband a number of times to discuss the issue and what parts were needed. They fixed the car at a reasonable price and in a very quick time frame. Janice in the office was very helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to this garage a month ago with a Toyota Hiace to make few repairs. They were able to take the van with no booking. The ladies at the desk were very helpfull, kind and reassuring. Thank you for your good advices !! And the price they tell you first is respected when you come take your car. I definitely recommend this garage. Thanks !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolute pleasure to deal with. Very friendly staff and job came in under the estimate.
The centre bearing was making noise after only being replaced (by a different mechanic) a few years prior. Received a call asking why I wanted it done as it looked in good condition. No issues with going ahead with the work and appreciated the call. The noise has now gone.
Will definitely be taking both of my cars here in future and will be recommending to others 10/10

I usually dread going to the mechanics, not just because of the cost but because I've had experiences with quite condescending and patronising people (*cough* Midas) especially as a young female. The people at Sims Brothers were super friendly and helpful AND the price came to quite significantly under what they initially quoted so that was amazing! They kept me updated along the way and made sure I was happy with everything. Definitely taking my car to Sims from now on and will be recommending them to everyone!

Made an account for me, asked about my next service and had such a positive attitude. Dropped it off on the Thursday morning and was done within the next hour or so. 100% recommend ?
