★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best experience I've ever had in New Zealand. All the flavors in the dishes are very well balanced with amazing mixture of textures. The most memorable dishes for me was the Fish Tikka and Tandoori chicken entrees. Food was top notch with authentic Indian flavours. Good price for the quality as well. Highly recommend. Thanks to the Head chef for cooking such an amazing food. I have tried almost every Indian restaurant in auckland but Sitar is my favourite soo far. Don’t look back if you wanna explore authentic Indian cuisine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terribly slow service provided. We were sent to the back to sit near their storage room and no one checked in on us. We were given menu after 10 minutes and then no one came to checked on us even after 20-30 mins of us sitting there!
Won't recommend at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing authentic Indian food so tasty and delicious. Absolutely to try all their homemade bread cooked with a old stone oven.
Sabina the owner, is really passionate and put so much love to cook you the real recipes how her mum teach her to follow the tradition and she always been kind and friendly to make you feel comfortable like home.
I highly raccomend this restaurant for the quality of food and of course for the cheap price you pay to get a homemade food!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered food yesterday (2 Feb 22) through Uber eat. After waiting for one hour, got notification saying that my order got cancelled. I contacted Uber support team but didn't get any explanation why order got cancelled. I often order food from here and quite like foods from here but yesterday event was just un professional. Letting customer wait one hour and giving no explanation for cancelling order mean you guys are showing "I don't care attitude" towards customer. Thanks
