★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Appalling service. Needed to change appointment, so phoned and caught in the automated msg and told respond to change via website, did this and set new appointment, called one day prior to confirm, only to be told the systems don't talk to each other, so they hadn't been informed, I then needed to wait a week for next available appointment. Turned up at confirmed time, to be told i needed to pay insurance excess despite having email from AMI saying i was fully covered, 10 mins later i was then told they had ordered the wrong windscreen. At which point i contacted Insurer and they agreed I could use Novis from Cromwell, who had the windscreen replaced at my home within 2 days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ According to Smith & Smith headoffice and website, the Wanaka branch would be open on the 23 Dec. Tried calling the Wanaka with no success. Went to the branch location and found it closed at 1500 on the 23 Dec. A simple resin injection has now spread and resulted into a windscreen replacement, as I had to drive to bluff the following day.

Over 7 weeks to replace a back window on my truck, Consistently mislead me about when my replacement window would be ready and only got action (And answers) after I called Head office and complained about this franchise owners service! ABSOLUTELY APPALLING business attitude and I highly recommend you Avoid this Company!

i was there for repairing a very very small chip and they cracked the windscreen.
yes, it can happen but they were very very unfriendly and no apologies and the receptionist even said we should be happy not to pay for the mistaken re[pair- what a hell is this business attitude?
Absolute terrible behavior - they promised to give us a very competitive quote for the windscreen replacement but they never called back and after 3 days we picked our car up with a cracked windscreen, now going to Novus Glass in Cromwell.
Again, my deepest recommendation: go never there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The work was very quick and at a good standard, the organisation and communication at reception however was extremely poor. We had to call 4 times to ask when the windscreen was being fixed and reception were extremely rude on the phone.

I was there for repairing 2 very small chips and they cracked the windscreen.
Yes, it can happen but they were very very unfriendly and no apologies.
Absolute terrible behavior. They said, come and get your car, no discussion about a replacement window..Now going to Novus Glass in Cromwell. Would be great if the head office of Smith and Smith looked at this operation and gave them a crash course in customer service, maybe then they wouldn't get such bad reviews and lose business to their competition.
NOT recommended as a place to repair a broken or chipped windscreen.
