★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't have insurance at the time of owning my vehicle, some studs put fireworks in the window wipers of my car, blew out the glass and scorched some plastic, i then put my car in to b fixed by smith and smith, they fitted the new window and seals but with further inspection once home was really poorly done, like an apprentice entry level had a go and really failed. Left mucky finger prints all over the seal that hardend excess of glue all over the show , and the seals on the outside all came loose. I then got my car back in for the seals to b re fitted and after a couple months now it's done the same thing and popped out so I'll b going back in for the third time, my car is also garaged and not driven a a daily currently so no excuses as to how it's needing repairs ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome customer service, replaced my windshield did a great job. The wrong windshield was ordered so it took an extra day for the right one to arrive and to fit it. They ended up giving me a discount for the inconvenience. Also was the cheapest quote compared to mostly all other businesses in Dunedin. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a windscreen replaced on 27/2/2020. Shortly after the replacement I noticed a lot of moisture on the inside of the windscereen most mornings. We went into & came out of lockdown, and on 13th May (level 2) I rang Smith & Smith to voice my concerns that the replacement may need to be checked for weather tightness. I was told that I had to wait till Level 1 for a mobile technician (who will contact me) which was fair enough. We went to level 1 but no contact, so I called Smith & Smith on June 16 and was told some one would contact me to arrange repair soon (under warranty), but alas, still no contact. It is now September 8th and I have heard nothing from Smith & Smith in seven months. I will be going to a competitor to get the faulty repair fixed (at my cost!) even though it should be free under warranty. I have been treated poorly by businesses before but nothing on this scale. Not happy at all. I would give zero stars if possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disorganised chaos! Staff members blaming each other manager completely unaccountable and then irate with me that I was taking my car to NOVUS after the 1st windscreen was not ordered at all despite telling me it was there and ready to be fitted and then 2nd windscreen was wrong one and me driving a ‘euro’ was the problem??? As an aside the experience at novus was very good and within a week had correct windscreen fitted. Have since used novus for other windscreens and had no issues at all.

The local branch (Dn did their best, but we're let done totally by the way Smith and Smith run the system. Got the job done promptly elsewhere in Dunedin..
