★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was pretty underwhelming for its price — while an effort was made for the (I’m assuming) hand-pulled noodles (which was used across different cuisines), the broth was too oily rather than rich. Service was also extremely offputting and unpleasant. Overall a disappointing establishment where the price does not warrant the level of service and quality of food. Might want to check out the Asian supermarket across the road and cook the dishes for yourself at a fraction of the price for a more authentic experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to So Bao last night and was blown away! Such delicious and filling food. The favours were so good and the portion sizes were large! Also had the best customer service - so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be making this place my usual. Top marks - 10/10, highly recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'd never been able to try their food truck but glad they have a permanent spot in town now. Perfect, fluffy baos (no surprise given their name!) but don't sleep on the other dishes. The Taiwanese beef noodles and lu rou fan were both spot on; we've been back a couple times and keep wanting to try new things but can never get past the beef noodles ?

The bao is perfection, the tacos are amazing and the steak is to die for.
But it's the chicken wings we can't ever go past, as they are the best we've ever had.
Our favourite restaurant, we would eat here every day if we could.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious and quality food! We highly recommend trying the chicken wings, they are one of a kind! The thaiwanese beef noodles were also amazing. The noodles had a sweet yet subtle spicy taste. And the bao buns were amazing - as per usual!
Customer service is always great here too.
