★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately, I will never be hiring any equipment from this place, ever again. I do not want to air out my experience for privacy, but what I can say is that the disapointment stems from the low cultural competence. If you are from a minority ethnic background, you will particularly understand what I am trying to say. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

They even had a specific kind of table made for us to meet an event theme! If you need staging/setting - Lynn and the team at SBSN should be your first port of call, you won't be disappointed.

It has been so easy, I can add to this hire at any stage as I think of other items I may need. Lynne has been really great patiently making suggestions and helping with the theme I wanted. The team are always buying in new items and adding to their great supply of choices. Everything is really well priced. You also have options of not only hiring but buying some products. This is not the first time I have used this shop and it definitely wont be the last.

Not to mention the absolutely beautiful decorations that were the icing on the cake for my baby shower! Even going the extra mile to order something in for me! Very competitive pricing too! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were initially pretty hesitant about using faux florals/greenery for our wedding, but got won over when we saw what they had on offer. The table garlands and we ended up hiring looked very realistic (as did the flameless candles we got them SBSN as our venue didn't allow for burning real ones) and had the added benefit of allowing us to collect and set up our decorations the day before without worrying about wilting.
Aside from the quality of the decor, the team was incredibly helpful. There was a mixup with our order when we collected it the day before our wedding and the centrepiece for the head table was missing. They tracked down the issue quickly (it turned out another bride had collected it with her order, and hadn't rung to tell anyone), and went above and beyond to fix it. Lynn contacted the other bride, - who had mistakenly added it to her wedding decor - and drove out to Hurunui, back to Christchurch, and then all the way out to our reception venue in Leeston to pick up and deliver the centrepiece for us.
Thank you guys so much for making what could have been a very stressful experience much easier - we had a beautiful day!
