β β β β β Quaint place, relatively quiet compared to other bars at night which is nice if you just want a chill drink. Couldnt give it 5 stars tho because we ordered the βtrust the bartenderβ drink and they basically just served us the same drinks in the menu for a few dollars extra. Couldve just closed my eyes and pointed at a drink at random and save ourselves a few bucks.

β β β β β The restaurant is nice and clean, loved the interior. Their ddeokbokki is a bit spicy for me but i loved the different type of rice cake in it, so nice and chewy. Grilled squid and seafood soup was good as well! Overall a good experience and would come again to try different stuff on their menu.

β β β β β We've been here a few times and we always enjoyed eating here. The food is amazing! Their pork belly kimchi stew is the best one in Auckland CBD.
Giving them 4 stars because we went here yesterday. They seat you based on the number of people so we are ok to sit outside. We decided to take away our food instead because the waiter was very rude - not talking about lacking customer service skills but lacking of wanting to be there at all.
We didn't want to ruin the experience of eating their great food so we braved the rain and ate at home.

β β β β β Sophia was a great find of a small but cozy restaurant. The food was high quality, as well as the service speed and the friendliness of the staff~. The atmosphere in this restaurant can cater for romantic dates or even just a small catch up between a few friends. I definitely recommend coming to Sophia as they are very welcoming. Iβm definitely coming back to try the other variety of chicken and their other foods as well ?

β β β β β Korean food and drinks, the best combo. The soft bone crispy chicken is absolutely to die for; and their dipping sauce pairs so well with it (has some Wasabi in it so there's a kick to the sauce). The pork belly and bean sprout stir fry was also amazing. All dishes on the menu are meant to be shared and all pairs really great with korean alcoholic beverages. Would definitely return again

Ambience is a bit weird as the decor doesnβt match the cuisine.

β β β β β We had the deep fried squid legs, spicy pan fried kimchi and pork belly with tofu, assorted fries and spicy rice cakes. Highly recommend the kimchi and pork belly with tofu. The pork belly was so tender and flavourful. The spicy rice cake was a bit too spicy. I think they really need to change the oil regularly as you can see the colour of all the fried food was quite dark.
