★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are several unsealed carparks all along South Bay that are free to park in. It's a short walk down to the stoney beach.
If the weather is rough and wavey then I recommend driving into the Township and enjoying the Esplanade.
It's not uncommon to see beach goers in the late evening lighting a fire and thoroughly enjoying the stunning views of mountains and coastline.
