β β β β β Really poor customer service. It's almost as though your bothering them by being in their store.

β β β β β Went in with a very specific component in mind for a project. Salesman was very helpful and directed me to different component they had in stock which sufficed

β β β β β Not friendly at all, before you ask anything. The boss will ask you two questions "which company you from?" & "will you spend at least $25?" Then point you the exit. Not even look at you when asking those two questions. Why brother?

β β β β β Every time i have gone to this store the sales man has a real bad attitude. Always grumpy and not very helpful. There website stock is never updated, About 7 years out dated. (says they have stock when they don't then you get attitude again from the sales man). Everything they sell is Chinese junk from aliexpress or ebay. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. IE online sadly.

β β β β β Customer service in Christchurch is the worst in the country and this company is a prime example. Walked in asking about switches and an elderly man just pointed in the direction without actually coming over to look at what I was after and then walked of towards other staff members. Don't worry will never go back there again.

β β β β β Not a bad store, sell components you can't really find elsewhere locally. I found that if you know what you are talking about they have time for you and tend to look after you (haven't had a bad experience). I could see that if you are comming in the shop as a hobbyist or DIYer and asking a bunch of questions then it could be quite frustrating for them, as they do offer a consulting/technician service with the ability to manufacture/design/fix electronic materials on site, of which the hobbyist/DIYer will likely not want to take advantage of. Spending 10 minutes answering questions and selling $5 in parts is not really a profitable business model, therefore i recommend doing your research before going in or better yet take advantage of their in-store services.

β β β β β Excellent store, great knowledgeable staff, huge range of components and will source components on behalf. You really need to have some knowledge of electronics or be willing to pay for that service if you need something fixed or need problem solving. Unfortunately no free advisory service is offered unless you are a regular customer or have a relationship with the company.as they are mainly wholesalers with a small retail service arm.
