★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't quite understand the bad reviews on here.. Found them to be a very helpful and honest crew.
Have taken my vw crafter in a couple of times for some pretty major work, the guys were very transparent with what needed to be done, flexible around my needs and booked me in with no worries regardless of them being very busy. Comparing to another vw company I went to, martys quote and work was half the price of my previous quote at the other company.
I highly recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recent got a Volkswagen second hand that had some oil problems, had a search on the internet and found this company had a lot of good reviews... and for a reason. The service was friendly, prompt and professional. They explained the issue clearly without complications and got it sorted in just about the same way. A pleasant constrast considering the general stereotypical reputation of certain auto mechanic workshops. Would recommend if you needed a VW repair of sorts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took my 07 golf gti into Volkspower for a transmission problem where the car was leaking trans fluid. They supposedly fixed the issue and I paid the invoice but then the next week the car was leaking trans oil again and the was thudding every time it changed gear so I took it in and I paid for their services. Now for a third time my golfs transmission has mucked out and wont go into reverse half the time. You would think the first time you take your car in to these “Volkswagen specialists”, they’d be able to identify everything they’d needs fixed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Again great service, spent $1k fixing my Golf Wagon with them a month ago and yesterday my back brake light blew so decided to pop in, within 6m both bulbs on both lights were replaced and all free of charge. Thanks to the older gentleman that has looked after me twice now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super easy to deal with, quick to respond to any comms and always willing to explain the details to someone who identifies as car illiterate ?.
Really upfront about estimates and pricing - have never had any surprises in that department which is much appreciated. They were even nice enough not to charge me when I took my car in for a non-existent oil leak after investigating the issue thoroughly (turned out to be coming from my husbands car…).
I switched to Dubworld for a while (just because the location was more convenient) but have gone back to Volkspower because I feel like they offer better service and value. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m absolutely disappointed in the service and communication from Volkspower. I took my car here to do some repairs and a service. I received a quote of $2200 which I agreed to. It took one month to complete the repairs and I had little to no communication with them. The only time I did was when I chased them up myself. There was no updates on cost or how they were progressing with the repairs.
Upon the completion of the job I was shocked to find the total cost to be $4200!! I understand that there was complications that arose, however it was a simple fuse in the end which should have been checked in the early stages. How can they think that it is okay to charge someone double the quote without communication.
Will never be using their services in the future. Don’t make the same mistake I did in trusting them.
