About South Wairarapa Computer Services
Owners John and Vicki Rennie opened the doors on June 29, 2013 and they have partnered up with specialist providers in the area to bring a complete range of services. They look forward to supplying their customers with all their computer needs from 2 Hastwell Street, Greytown.
John is managing the business and he has a background in IT spanning 35 years, most recently coming from working as technical support for Payroll and HR systems at the ANZ Bank. A keen sportsman, John has played and coached provincial hockey. He now plays golf when time permits. John is often seen driving around Greytown in his work car with his black labs, Max and Zoe and Kelpie, Bindi.
“We can provide all your computer servicing needs from a tune-up and clean, through to a full build and install for your specific needs,” says John.
South Wairarapa Computer Services are located in the ‘Property Brokers’ building on the street you turn down to Fresh Choice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly not recommended it. I lost 2 years of photo storage cause they put my files on another laptop and forgot to save my pictures from my photolibrary. I was devastated. They didn’t even asked me before going for that process. All of it to change my password. They also did the wrong spelling of it and it took days to pick it up. I‘ve had to pay for that ‚service‘, which was more a damage than a help. Two years of memories gone. After asking again and again they tried to put a software in my laptop to rebuild those files. That software is supercomplicated. It has countless folders and tons of randomly sorted photos. They also tried to blame it on my old laptop or that I remember it incorrectly. They said when it was to late they don’t know much about macbooks. I can’t explain how frustrated I‘m about that loss. I also lost my notes where I kept important information of years and other files that were damaged from the copieng to the other laptop. Worst experience ever of my life for paid service.
