The crew at Southern Alps Air were really friendly and handled rescheduling our booking due to unfavourable flying weather very well. Highly recommend. Big thanks to the SAA team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I did a scenic flight with Southern Alps Air and it was probably one of the highlights of our trip not to mention a huge check off our bucket list. The flight was a little rocky but well worth the views and photos we captured. Since we were on a tight timeline this was also the quickest way and best in my opinion to see the Milford Sound. If you are debating on taking a scenic flight, it’s worth the money for sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an all around great experience with Southern Alps Air. Despite a couple of delays due to weather we were finally able to go on a flight to Milford Sound from Wanaka. The route is fantastic, with good views of Mt Aspiring and several glaciers. Our pilot Michael was a great tour guide.

Jake our pilot was friendly and knows the local area well. Awesome scenery on a perfect flying day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you Southern Alps Air for such an amazing experience flying through to Milford Sound and back to Wanaka. Unbelievable views and great commentary from our pilot Angus. Three in our group including one very nervous flyer who managed the flight with lots of reassurance and support from all the staff. An awesome experience for each of us that we'll never forget.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From Wanaka to Milford, boat cruise down the fjord and then back to Wanaka. This is the most awesome sightseeing trip I have ever done... anywhere in the world! To be fair, the weather was perfect but also SAA were awesome too. Very friendly and professional. Michael was the consummate pilot and host. The trip was mind bogglingly spectacular and I would highly recommend in a heartbeat. So worth it!!. This is an absolute bucket list trip!!! Do it!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AMAZING!!!! This was by far the best part of our trip to NZ. Bayleigh our pilot was super friendly and gave us a great audio tour of the alps during the flight - you can tell she loves NZ and loves to fly. The rest of the staff was very helpful and informative. This is the best value for money you can get - don’t waste your money on a short helicopter flight - you’ll get so much more from this trip to/from Milford Sound and you get more time in the air soaring over the glaciers - unforgettable! You won’t regret it!!
