My family’s experience here was great! Lovely and friendly staff especially the Fijian and Chilean ladies! The food was amazing, full of flavour!

Awesome salt&pepper calamari and sake chicken entrΓ©es. And the Beef Burger (double pattie and bacon) Wompf! What a meal, watch off and sleeves rolled up. Thank you for the amazing service and awesome food. Just dad I didn't have room for dessert.

Me and my husband came here a few times while we were staying at the Hilton and have nothing but great things to say! Their service is sensational and the food is fantastic. For the vegetarians, their veggie burger is delicious!! My husband also said their pizzas are great :) give them a try for sure. The price is also very reasonable and you get a lot of food!

Loved Stacks, so cosy next to the fire on a cold night. Great happy hour with a nice selection of wines to choose from. Our platter was delicious and even had cheese rolls on it.

As a restaurant in the Hilton Resort & Spa, I expected more. But the Margarita pizza tasted like frozen boxed pizza, and everything else we ordered was overpriced for what was served, or just meh. If you're dragged here by lack of choice or a sports-obsessed member of your party, you'll notice one plus for health-conscious eaters: they offer a big bowl of steamed veggies as a side (ask to hold the cracked pepper if you're serving to a child). However, the Wakatipu Grill next door does far better veggie sides, and has more options. I was glad to see they had a Beyond veggie burger on the menu but it was hard to understand why it was priced at $32... Neighbourhood bar vibes, domestic beers, sports on the telly. Ok in a pinch or to placate anyone nostalgic for a touch of the old NZ norm, but I wouldn't recommend it. Last note - Hope for Hilton that they choose to invest in improvements - this could be a sports bar taken to a level that matches the hotel's rating.

Good food, good ambience, not so good location and definitely not a good waiting time. First off, the onion rings were OH-MY-GOD so good. I'd have ordered another portion if I could finish it. Also ordered a half-half pizza and we weren't disappointed. The Hawaiian and BBQ Carnivore (I think?) tasted great, with thin crust. Toppings could have been more generous I feel. The waiting time on a Tues night at 7pm was half an hour for a seating and one hour for the food to be served...
