β β β β β I was super nice to the employees but they were all incredibly grumpy. Kinda threw ingredients on my sandwich with no care as to how the sandwich turned out. Second time in a row this has happened.

β β β β β We arrived at 20:55h. We thought the owner was going to be mad at us because we arrived 5 minutes before the closing time and she still had some sandwiches to finish, but she asked us to wait and so we did.
She prepared the two best sandwiches ever for us, being super nice, and she even gave us some free cookies for the waiting time.
Best subway ever and props to the nice lady who made our dinner. You deserve all the best for your job well done. You should be proud. ??β€οΈ

β β β β β The service was terrible. The two boys behind the counter literally didn't care what so ever. The shop doors were so dirty you could hardly see through them and we should have known at this point it was not going to get any better inside. The shop was so grubby and the food cabinet was a mess. I didn't want to order food and wish I hadn't because it was average as.

β β β β β Terrible service from both workers, felt like we were causing a hassle for them to make us our subs. A lot of ingredients were unavailable, i asked for a specific meat, got a rude reply back.The store was uninviting and very low with cookies, snacks and drinks. The worst service i have ever had at subway.

β β β β β Such a shock walking in here today!! We have been in here a few times... but this time a shocker. No customers when we walked in. Actually no staff members either. Seen them through a window (assuming that they were in the staff room). The place looked untidy. The young girl that served us seemed as if she did not want to be there. Boarder line friendly. The counter and food section looked messy and salads mixed in with other containers (see photos). Never got asked for our vacc passport. The next person served by a young male was asked. No aioli!! And when I asked for my receipt... no paper for the eftpos machine and asking for GST receipt she just told me a figure on my receipt... not actually giving me one. There seems to be no food, service and or cleanest proud. As if they don't care. Not a good look Subway.

β β β β β Terrible service. Iβm not one to complain but if the owner/manager doesnβt train their staff better, they will lose customers. Firstly they did not check vaccine passes, and the young man working at 2pm on Friday 21st of January was not wearing a mask. He was handling our food and serving us with what looked like a subway branded bandana loosely around his chin- not covering his mouth or nose. Both of the men working hardly acknowledged us, and the older one left salads off one of our sandwiches. At the end of the process the younger, unmasked one cut our sandwiches wonky, before half-wrapping them (the ends of the sandwiches were hanging out, uncovered) and then slapping a sticker in the middle of the paper (instead of holding together the wrapping) so it was already falling apart as we picked it up from the counter. Both staff members made us feel really unwelcome and the shop wasnβt busy when we were being served. No excuses for such poor service.

β β β β β Honestly the worst service Iβve had in a long time tonight! Never had a bad experience at subway but this one in Nelson is terrible. The staff were so rude and un friendly, they didnβt seem to care when making the sandwich and just threw everything in and we had to re make them when we got home. It wasnβt busy so there was no excuse for their terrible service!
Shop was also badly stocked, no chicken, no cookies and very limited drinks left in the fridge!
Will not be back, and will not recommend to anyone!
