Had the Prawns and Vegetables in peanut sauce! Great sized prawns and the sauxe was on point!!
Friendly service and the Tom Kha was delicious too!!!
Highly Recommended!

Now that I’m in New Zealand I do still visit different Thailand restaurant and so far suk jai thai restaurant here in Whangarei serves yummy and authentic Thailand food.. staff are friendly and service is great!!

Amazing vegetarian options and the very good Thai classic dishes with the best food quality.
Hot tip, this place is BYO - we brought a wine bottle and it was 6$ corkage/ 9$ if you want an ice bucket for 2 (please note prices may vary, just sharing how much we paid last night!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best Thai in Whangarei! We had to stop over from our long trip and found this hidden gem. Luckily, they were still open at 9pm. Lovely staff quick service and delicious food! Highly recommended the Panang Suk Jai (thanks Shanice!) and tom yum soup. Would love to comeback here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a nice Valentine's dinner here, but was a little disappointed in the service level. No one checked to see if our meal was ok. The steamed rice was a bit dry. But, the Pentagons and the Roast Duck was delicious.
