About Us
Every child is a gift from God
Sunshine Christian Preschool opened in August, 2010. It provides a multicultural, family friendly environment that has developed strong links with our community. Licensed for 80 children, we nurture children aged approximately 1.5 – 6 years.
We believe that each child is a gift from God and is best taught well while they are young. Our Learning program is based on Biblical teaching and the principles of Te WhΔriki (New Zealand ECE curriculum) which guides us in the development of children’s cognitive, emotional, physical, intellectual, language, spiritual and social needs.

β β β β β 26Oct16 My son and his wife brought their three year old daughter here in 2014. She loves the teachers so much that she always wants to return next morning. At this Christian pre-school all ethnicities and religions are welcome .. and they do all come including Hindu, Sikh, Asian, Cook Islands, Samoan, Tongan, Kiwi, non religious etc etc My wife and I have been delivering our three year old granddaughter (now nearly five) here four mornings a week since 2014. So we have had plenty of time to see how the teachers and staff treat children. With great care and thoughtfulness and love. The children are not just minded - they are taught to how to behave in the company of others, how to count, how to concentrate etc etc All the things you want for your child!

β β β β β Sunshine Preschool is a great school! My daughter is learning a lot from this school and she is having a lot of fun. The teachers are warm and caring and they always update me about my daughterβs progress and also if they have any concerns about her. Highly recommend to all parents looking for a preschool.
